Design Concrete Builders is a family owned business led by a father and son team. Eugene and Joe Friesen have over 30 years of experience. Based out of Harrisonburg, Virginia we service the greater Shenandoah Valley. Our company received the Overall Commonwealth Award for 2009 from Virginia’s chapter of the American Concrete Institute (ACI).

We specialize in decorative concrete enhancements to sidewalks, patios, driveways, and more. Our turnkey projects utilize insulated concrete forms through the entire height of the structure and other green building methods. We are green builders because we care about the impact our work has on the environment both indoors and out. This is why we use environmentally sound concrete building methods. The client benefits indoors through improved air quality, increased energy efficiency and a more comfortable home.
